![]() The three mechanisms of adsorption including π-complexation, acid–base interaction, and metal–sulfur interaction provide useful information for the subsequent development of BFG desulfurization technology. At the same time, commonly used adsorbent materials such as activated carbon, molecular sieves, metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), and layered hydroxide adsorbents (LDHs) are introduced. The adsorption method is simple in operation, economical, and rich in types of adsorbents and has become a major focus of current research. The sources of COS in BFG are reviewed, and the commonly used removal methods for COS are summarized, including the types of adsorbents commonly used in adsorption methods and the adsorption mechanism of COS. For example, iron(II) has a 2+ charge iron(III) a 3+ charge. In practice, iron sulfides are often non-stoichiometric. (III) bromide sodium sulfide copper (II) phosphide iron (II) hydroxide ammonium. Carbonyl sulfide (COS) has become a significant and difficult issue in the BFG treatment due to its unique physical and chemical properties. Roman numeral notation indicates charge of ion when element commonly forms more than one ion. Iron(II) sulfide is a chemical compound with the formula FeS. Phosphorus sesquisulfide P4S8 - structure, chemical names. However, with the introduction of energy-saving and emission reduction policies, desulfurization of blast furnace gas (BFG) is also necessary for further sulfur control in the iron and steel industry. The room-temperature Mössbauer spectra fitted with several doublets (chemical shift of 0.35–0.4 mm s −1 and varying quadrupole splitting) transformed to three six-line patterns (hyperfine fields of ∼290, 350 and 480 kOe) due to magnetic ordering at 4.2 K, albeit the paramagnetic behavior observed in SQUID experiments. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy found that the hydroxide layers involved Fe 3+ cations from 10 to 40% of total iron tuned by addition of Al and Li entering the layers the Fe 1− xS sheets comprised comparable amounts of high-spin Fe 3+ and Fe 2+ centers, and minor S–S bonding. The reliable formation of tochilinites was ensured by an excess of sodium sulfide, with the assembly of the metal sulfide and hydroxide sheets driven by their opposite electric charges. n(Mg,Fe)(OH) 2 constructed by interchanging atomic sulfide and hydroxide sheets as a representative of a new platform of multifunctional two-dimensional materials. The structure of the sulfite anion can be described with three equivalent resonance structures. A full overlap of the H + reduction curves can be seen in both the charge transfer and the mass transfer controlled regions, agreeing well with the model. In sandstone rocks containing iron minerals, the removal of these scales from the reservoir rock has been reported to enhance oil recovery by more than 20 ( Mahmoud, 2018 Mahmoud et al. Be sure to include the proper sign (+ or -). Iron sulfide scales change the surface charge to more positive making the rock more oil-wet and alter the relative permeability and reduce productivity. We report here a simple hydrothermal synthesis of 100–200 nm flakes of tochilinite (Fe 1− xS) the kind of ion formed (anion or cation) and the size of the ionic charge. ![]()
